Here's a few. I grabbed these from the 3D Warehouse for Google Sketchup models, exported them as STLs, and then made a heightmap with a demo of CarvePic. If you want a different angle or something I can help, but you may want to try it yourself.
BTW, does anyone know how to make these sort of reliefs with the STL Import software. I want to change the orientation of the model and then flatten it from that perspective.
Those are awsome. btw.. are the stl very large? I did purchase the stl importer from lhr... i dont know if doing it that way would change much, but it might be interesting to try. If they are not too large can you post them?
The forum says that STLs are an invalid format. Download Google Sketchup (it's free), and then put this file in the "plugins" folder in the sketchup folder under Program Files
