    Default Carving shapes

If I draw a circle, say 1 inch diameter, and I want it to be carved as a half sphere, how do I set the height? I've tried the "dome" but can't get it to arc high enough. Anyone know the solution?

Also, is there a way to set the height of each end of a line segment?

Try setting the height to a very large number like 900. The Height box is in the toolbar right next to the Depth box. A large enough height will cause the dome to reach the surface, but the dome is not spherical so it may not be quite what you want.

As for setting the height/depth of the ends of a line segment, you can't set both ends. However, there is a depth profile that will go from zero at one end to whatever depth you set for the line segment.
