    Default Rock Chuck Question

I may be ordering a Rock Chuck, I have to decide between that and a lathe chuck.

I'm looking at Kit 1. What is the Rock Bit Adapter for? Seems I need to get the Kit 1 size 1/2" and a 1/2 to 1/4" sleeve, but the Adapter has me confused. All my current CW bits that I use are 1/4" but I have plenty of 1/2" router bits that I would like the ability to use.

Also, I purchased a spare QC chuck from LHR with a square tool and it has 2 flat wrenches. Are these the same size wrenches that come with Kit 1?

The 1/2" chuck allows you to use your 1/2" bits, then the adapter sleeve is for when you use the carving and 1/8" cutting bits, or if you wish to use a 1/4" router bit.
If it doesn't fit force it. If it breaks then it needed replacing anyway.

    Smile Rock Chuck Question

You need the #2 kit if you already have the square bit tool and one wrench. Good luck, you will love the RC, I have only had mine 1.5 weeks and I can not believe the difference. Less noise and much smoother cuts. I now use "Best" for the quality setting, before it had to be "Optimal".
