    Nothing all that special, but finally finished three of these for the deck rail. Just sharing.

    Thamks a lot for sharing. I think that turned out great. I have a very long list of projects but this just jump to the top.

    Your planter is a very nice project. I like the humming birds. Great additon to any porch.

    Thanks to all for your kind words.

    I designed the basic structure in SolidWorks, so if anyone wants drawings of the individual piece parts, I can supply them easily enough.

    P. S. the design was the easy part!

    There is something special in each piece any of us post.

    I want to tell you, if my Sister saw this she would flip. She is in Love with the Humming Birds, I am way behine in getting a design carved for her with Hummingbirds.

    Your projest has given me a couple more ideas.

    I really like your planter. It's very well done and designed. I have been wanting to put planters on my deck but did not want them attached. I really like the idea of letting them ride over the rails. Thanks and keep up the great carving!
