Default Fractals, a new way to Look at them

Anyone remember Fractal Art or Drawings from the nineteen seventy or eights
If you play with them a bit, they can be used to make some
pretty neat Carvings on your machine.

I still have a DOS Fractal generator program (from early 1980's) - forgot all about it until you mentioned fractals - don't know if I can even get it to run or not. I'll have to dig it out and try it. Might be fun to make some patterns from alright!

    Default Fractals

Years ago, I used mine to generate Fractals for everything
from Tee Shirts, and Ties to Book Cover liners for publishing companies.
Though they might look good on wood today.

Cool Something else I’ve been wanting try

Several years ago when I first saw photos, and now lately a Discovery Chanel video, about the prehistoric drawings and paintings
on the cave walls in France and Spain I wanted to try to make a few reproductions for my own Den.
Now with my carver and the CW Design software I thought I’d give it a try.

I’ll use HD SignFoam and MDF for the Carved Simulated Stone Plaques and Photos off the web to make the graphic patterns with Designer.
After carving and matte priming the plaques I’ll used a semitransparent over lay like I posted Earlier, over the screen shots of the project in designer.
The Photo of the project and the engraved surface graphic will act as a guide as I dab the powered chalk colors and pastels on and into the surface,
then a couple coat of clear matte finished acrylic to seal the completed Wall mounted Plaques.

    Whatda-ya think huh??
