thyis is a scan i did some time ago
Sorry William,
But that's all I had to work with, It came for a 101 KB color png file
that I changed to gray scale, any enlargement just distorted to badly to use.
Nice Scan bdehoyos, Looks like (Pacal) again, whose name means "The Shield" in Mayan.

Hi bdehoyos,
I really like it just the way it is,
I've seen several of the original pieces
carved in stone or modeled in stucco
and the texture on your scan fits in perfectly.
Thanks for Sharing it with us.

Hi Stacey,
Nice graphic mpc file, if I collect enough of them,
I plan to make some kind of Art collaguecomprised of the fragmentary
graphics and patterns that the Maya left behind.
Just something in the back of my mind for now.
Thanks for sharing

Stacey Nice Job,
I've down loaded several photos and tracings off the net and have done a few rubbings on some originals
that have passed through my studio. I have some drawings that I made my self and some stylized ones
that I hope to make into vector carvings for the Machine to do.

i have a pattern of a piece of mayan art that was torn down because of progress. I don't know much about it and am trying to make a good pattern to carve. my abilities of editing from a photo are limited. I am getting better but still not as good as some of the stuff that's being posted. I am uploading the picture and what I have. If anyone is interested in using it and maybe improving upon what I have done, great! I don't know much about the history of it but it is a pretty cool piece of art. thanks.
