Finally!

After waiting a week for FEDEX to try to deliver ... I finally asked them to mark it "will pick up" and drove up and got it myself. Got it all set up and started to practice a little. Carved a sign and a couple of pictures, but nothing too fancy yet. I'm still under that learning curve. Thanks for all of your helpful input so far. The crew at CarveWright are great as far as helping out. I know I called four times today and they solved each problem so I could keep going. Looking forward to getting the hang of it and making some chips fly.

Ron, Finaly got your machine thats great, there is so much that you can do with it.
If you want to make signs you should try sign foam, to finish you would need to prime and paint it. The end results are fantastic. Here is a link to there web site, you can request a free sample.

I'm anxious to get started on some of these, but don't have the bit set yet that I want to use, like the V bits. I sure will try some of these alternate materials.
