Looks like I'll need to get a new Flash card and or reader. It's hit or miss when I try to open the Flash Manager or upload a project, sometimes it works and alot of times I get an error message. Think I'll start with a new flash card and if that don't work I'll get a new reader.

    Happy carving Big Al

Default Same Problem - how did you fix yours?

Were you able to resolve the issue?
I am having exactly same problem with Designer 2 and the 2.005 Firmware.
Carving stops at random parts of the process with the same error. Reformatting the card and updating the firmware does not help.

Was wanting to see what LHR support had to say but it's been 3 days since I e-mailed LHR Hardware and Software support and "NO REPLY" from them as of yet!!! Any suggestions ???

LHR doesn't respond well to tech support questions on the forum. You really need to give them a call. Anyway, you can't go wrong with ordering a new card. Even if it doesn't fix the problem it's good to have a spare. If you already had a spare we wouldn't be having this conversation.

The only thing I can think of is bad card. It could just be intermittent as it heats up or due to vibration.

Card Reader - When inserting the card lightly wiggle it a bit left and right as you insert it.

Try cleaning the card reader with some dust off canned air. Just make sure you disconnect the card reader from the computer when doing so - eliminates any chance of static

I had one that acted like this - dusty inside - cleaned it up and all set.
