    Unhappy Norm

    IT QUIT !!
    Can anybodyhelp a newbie? I started to carve the coin
    whatever it is and at about 50%, the machine stopped and restarted. When it did, in started at the begining of the pattern, on top of what was just carved. HELP

    Never heard that one before , sounds like something from the twilite zone.
    On the second pass, did it carve the same size? Might try reformating your card.

    Exclamation Still a mystery

    Dan actually the second carving started at the begining of the pattern,BUT NOT at thhew start of the board. In other words Ifthe board is in this case 32" long the second carve started on top of the first carve,at the 15" point. Creating an overlap.

    Can you post pictures and the project you were carving (make sure it does not have commercial patterns please). Also, what version of Designer and firmware are you using.

    If the machine vibrates and the cover switch activates and you see a close cover or press any key to continue you press start then you are back in business. If you press STOP then Start then it will start again from the beginning.

    The trick is not pressing STOP.

    OR...... You have a power supply problem and the L2 opens momentary and stops the machine then it will only want to start over.

    Did it remeasure the board? That is a key.... If it did then it could be a power failure.

    What is the error message?
    Favorite Saying.... "It's ALL About the Brass Roller"..... And "Use MASKING TAPE" for board skipping in the X or breaking bits.
