Constructive criticism needed

Being very very new, I have been playing around with some ideas with graphic programs and efffects. I am looking for some feedback on the attached image.

looks really good..the only thing I would point out is smooth out the outline..looks a little rough there..other than that it looks really good.

any start is a good start, we all start some place and yours seems to be a darn good one. As the saying goes, practice makes perfect. Your progression will be followed by me for sure.

Same here too. Lose the outline and I think it would look better.

Thank you for the feedback. When I get a moment I will work on the outline. The rough edges are loose pixels on the perimeter. My objective was to see how the results of the software/machine would work with Illustrator using vectors in comparison to Xara.
