Default How do you change the QC

I know I asked on another thread, then said not to comment on it. But is there any PDF's on changing them? The photo is the original. When I did find the bit that when the allen screw loosen, it allowed the bit to go up in the quick change and the allen screw was fired from the QC head and chipped the first QC. This is the pic of it. I haven't got it off yet. Been waiting on Fedex to deliever my new QC, which came today. TGIF!!!!!

I think I am going to have to get a Square drive attachment to take it out. Thanks.

Do you know what size the square recess wrench is? or 1/4 inch on the tip that goes in the QC? I will check to see what I have before buying anything.

    Hello,

Be sure it is the EXACT size or you will "round" the square hole and need to buy more parts to replace. (Might be safer to buy the tools from CarveWright or rjustice.)
