I do drop by the forum once in awhile and even now if I have a serious question this is the place I go to. Yes, it is not like the old times when so many things were shared. But I find that is true...
Thank you Floyd, that worked. Now I can play around with some new ideas.
The icon for viewing lithophanes seems to no longer be available in my Pro 3.106. I had not used it for a long time and it was available in the "wood" selection if I remember right. If I am wrong...
Floyd, yes it is touching off bit plate and board surface correctly. Thought I would check the decoder and head pressure tomorrow afternoon. Will post again if and when I find out something.
To show how long it's been since I've had problems with my machines I can not remember what the problems are that would make the machine air carve a pattern. Last pattern carved fine but on this one...
Both are very nice projects but your pierced Welcome Sign takes 1st prize.
The Video is a great addition to the POM projects. I compliment Michael and Joe on the production.
Connie, you are right. By putting in that one extra space for each line you want to be moved down it works. I have 1.187 - works by just using the "enter" key for each space you want down. But,...
This is what I get when using the text box. I did retry using the boxes on the left side and they worked this time but as you know it moves every line to the same spacing.
Connie.... If you look at want2b's (#6 post) that is what I see on the text screen but moving it to the board that double space turns into a single space. I do have Pro 3.16 (or the latest version)....
It has been a long time since I wanted to separate lines of text. I thought I could type two lines, double space between that and the third line and the double space would be there. When I do it now...
I don't know how far you have taken the Rock Chuck apart but.... If you remove the allen wrench headed screw you can take a small wooden dowel and insert in the hole to push the opposite end out. ...
It doesn't get any better than that. Great job.
Everyone is generous with their complements. Now just have to finish my Reindeer candle holders. Hopefully pictures soon.
Here are several items that will be at our booth over the holidays. Right now I'm working on getting 2 dozen glass Christmas 86767867688676986770bulbs painted. Now just need to get busy on a couple...
That is one project I'll be acquiring just as soon as it hits the pattern store. Thank you Michael, for all the work you put into making this pattern. Looking forward to the challenge of painting...
Oscar, the cobblestones will be a great addition to my texture file. Thanks
Thanks, Floyd, Michael, Dick and Steve for the input. I have only done a couple pierced carves and never deep ones, so wasn't able to give Peter the answer he needed. I sure love this forum for...
Can see lots of possibilities using this months project.
Peter.... glad you got the problem worked out. When (if you used the cut path) did you flip the cut line to the outside of your pattern? If the rest of the horse is the right dimension then the...
Peter, I had to look on the map to see where Lowell was located. Seems you are on the other side of the mountains from Bend/Redmond. I haven't been all that active myself this last year but maybe I...
You really don't know what fun it is to see a carving emerge from the machine until you haven't done one for a while. Your plaque is very nice.
They are all very nice projects. The "stain-glass" cross is sure different... great job.
Thanks for the comments. I really like doing cribbage boards.... except when I forget to anchor the board down good and it moves in the sled. I now have a playable board but with oddly shaped lines...
Haven't spent much time in the shop this summer but here are a couple finished projects.... and one painted plate that was shown at the conference, that finally got completed. Sorry, the one...
