It's leaving a rough edge since it's carving just what's on your pattern. You can see the roughness when you zoom in and roll the pattern over.

I just spent about 10 minutes fooling with Editor and didn't have any problem. Running XP Professional.

A lot of people use self adhesive paper to do that. A possible drawback to the spray would be getting all the adhesive off.

The connector on the new circuit board is smaller than the plug on the original Y-motor.

One thing I found out today though is if you upgrade to the new Z-pack, you also have to change the Y motor.

There isn't a mention of the smaller ribbon cable as shown in page 3 of those instructions. The circuit board on the new Z pack has no termination point for that cable.
