WOW LG, you can crank out a piece like that between the new 1.130 release time and now?? Impressive!!
Short winded here folks. Got a lot of sanding and painting to do by Thursday.
Cuts went great. Used the V60 for all borders and text. Borders are clean and perfect but still some burning on the...

Carving 3 plaques this morning like the test plaque. After the test yesterday, I'm expecting good results.....http://www.carvewright.com/forum/images/icons/icon14.gif....will let you all know.
Hey, how were we to know that the designs done on my system, had fonts you didn't have on yours...lol Neither one of us caught that or even thought of it. Yep, not enough sleep for either of us.

Whoops....http://www.carvewright.com/forum/images/icons/icon9.gif.....sorry buddy. I should have mentioned when I told you how I did this that I made sure the spindle was locked in place before...
Terry,
You missed it. 18 x 7 (specs on picture 1) cutting 3 more in the morning.
Well Ken, going turbo certainly isn't proper operation so in short, you need to find out why it is. Now mine may have been an RPM sensor or the motor itself. Since Al happened to have a new motor to...

The test subject is a 48 minute carve on "Best" in # 1 pine
Brand new cut motor & 1/8" cutter.

In my experience Terry, the turbo always started anywhere from about 5% to 25% into the carve. If yours is anything like mine, chances are pretty good it was running fast.
I have a meeting to...
I would agree Terry and since you're one of the "experienced" users like me, and have had the same issues, I think I'm beginning to see a pattern here. Faster cut motor, new feed rates, burning and...
Well it was brought to my attention by another member. I don't feel it would be right for me to name him but he knows who he is and if this pans out, he deserves the credit. I'll leave it him to come...
Seems a "tad" harsh but if that's how you feel, make it go away, wouldn't break my heart.
But first, I was just talking with someone and we "may" have discovered a possible cause to "some" folks...
Very true and I won't bore you with just how much "else" I have to do but like any other shop tool, prudence demands keeping an eye on things. Especially running things...lol.
As an official...
I agree about not leaving the machine unattended (for long). Look back through the history of my posts and you'll see I've always been an advocate of vacuuming it out "every 15 minutes" of cutting....
Watching it burn and break bits wouldn't help much in my view. Just give us the choice of multiple passes and.....problem solved. Keep the single pass for lighter thinner materials. that's GREAT, but...
