my cut motor stopped working after a carve. I changed the bit to cut out the carve and when
I started it back up , it didn't spin or make any noise ....
I did the cut motor test and...
yes I tried it and still had the same problem
Thank everyone, I think i'm going to order a new one, I think this is out of my range to fix, it will probably be much easier to just replace it

turns easy by hand, if I take the front piece off with the plastic gear and put that on the machine by itself and attach the belt, it works perfect..as soon as i attach the motor to it, it locks...
I DID say I didn't know how to get the other bearing out, that would explain the "only replacing the one", I don't know how to get the other one out,or I would have done that as well. everything else...
@ bergerud by outside bearing i mean the bearing under the Y/Z Drive Gear/Pulley Combination Assembly the Only bearing on the "outside" of the Ymotor ,i'm not sure how to get the other bearing...
I noticed a click and than a complete stop on my Y motor..So I replaced the outside bearing,Y/Z Drive Gear/Pulley Combination Assembly,and the Y-Drive Belt Tensioner Assembly..
everything seemed...
Thanks everyone I got the belt on and replaced the screws with ones from Lowes the only difference was the were flat head and not Philips head but works great.
I didn't just make this a thumbs down did I.
I wound up stripping the heads of the two screws..but I got them out..Hoping I can pick them up at lowes
Thanks Chris....i'm having a tough time getting the screws out from the belt retaining clamp...them babies are in tight.
