Well... it finally failed. Machine simply went dead shortly into a project and would not reboot or power up. Power supply and controller are both shipped off to support for testing.

I spoke too soon. It is still aborting occasionally. I guess I'm going to have to live with a "machine with a personality" (at least until whatever is wrong causes a hard failure). I am really not...
