well i ran soem test carves today and had teh z-truck al the way up and nothing was loose. then ran the carve and there they were the dreaded lines. well move the z-truck to the bottom like it was...

The bearings seam tight, hmm maybe i will take it apart and redo it..
Well i will tear down Tomorow morning, double check all the bearings, on the bit slipping, i have a Rock (Thanks Ron), Once you get the bit in the Rock, and tighten to make sure its not on the flat...
Lines show deeper in areas,
I have a dust collector that sucks the dust from the top, like FW Harris (yours)

Yes i checked both the y and z, i may have a y bearing going out and will put my extra z-truck this weekend and retry

Attached you will find a picture of what i call "Lines". I checked teh z-truck for movement and even taken off the back of the z-motor and cleaned the plastic part.
