I bought the Rock Chuck for one of my machines before I started deploying but never got it installed. The other machine is going to go and get an error repaired that I couldn't figure out before my...
After over a year, I'm finally getting set up to start using my machines again (I'm still running 1.132 ). I took a quick browse through the forums and decided I have some catching up to do...
Steve - there are several instructional articles on finishing and prepping for the finish also. For people that want to learn how to augment the CW with hand chisels or knives, several of the...
I was looking for a how-to for a plaque that I was having a technique problem doing some burning on and ran across this site. There are obviously things for sale but browse down toward the bottom...
I know of a whole bunch of people (myself included) who would never be able to download a file with a .exe extension.
Nice work. A little velcro might help keep everything in place.
miragese, a couple of hand planes would go a long ways. I have the DW735 with the Byrd Shelix head but that cutter isn't the most economical in the world. If I'm only doing a couple of boards, I...
They do come up every now and then. You could post another ad titled "Wanted to Buy" and you might get some response. I'm not sure but I think that is kosher.
I have an excess of sandpaper belts. PM me your address and I'll send you a couple. You probably have the older Z motor also so if you're looking for parts to stock up on, the new Z bundle might be...
It's leaving a rough edge since it's carving just what's on your pattern. You can see the roughness when you zoom in and roll the pattern over.
I just spent about 10 minutes fooling with Editor and didn't have any problem. Running XP Professional.
Here's one thread that discusses that. Put "how to charge" using the quotes into the search engine and you will see several more.

A lot of people use self adhesive paper to do that. A possible drawback to the spray would be getting all the adhesive off.
All that snickering makes you sound like an old Navy Chief. :D
You have it twice then since I saw your PM before I saw this post. ;)
Try alt print screen. Open up Paint and paste into that.
I was ondering the same thing and found several posts on it. Look at post #4 and it explains it. Search turned up several other threads.

I downloaded it earlier. If you can't access it, PM me your email and I'll send it to you.
The link was contained in the newsletter but for those that don't get that, LHR did a super job on this. It expands a lot on many of the often asked questions.

I wasn't clear in my description but I was just trying to show that I had checked for power at the cut motor. That is registering correctly when turning the flex shaft. My zero reading is on the Y...
This is something I obviously induced since the carver was not doing doing this before I put in a new board sensor and Z bundle. I'll post what I've checked from what I got on my search.
I'm just...
The connector on the new circuit board is smaller than the plug on the original Y-motor.
One thing I found out today though is if you upgrade to the new Z-pack, you also have to change the Y motor.
Thanks Jeff
There isn't a mention of the smaller ribbon cable as shown in page 3 of those instructions. The circuit board on the new Z pack has no termination point for that cable.
