Yeah, OK.. So I'm and idiot I guess. I just dream this stuff up. This will be the LAST time I post here and I will NEVER recommend one of these machines to anyone.

After much appreciated help from another member of this forum LHR did replace the controller and defective card. Very shortly after I tried to use the machine and got a message to put in the unlock...
In my opinion there is no quality control at LHR. The statement, and I paraphrase, "don't be concerned it there is a little sawdust in the machine when you get it. Every machine is tested before...
You know folks, I understand all your defense of LHR. I understand doing pm on your machine, troubleshooting etc. but why does this fellow have the exact same issue that he was having after LHR...
Why does this person spend almost $400 to have a machine checked by the company that
SHOULD know what to do and it still does not work?
Yeah....don't complain on here. These folks don't want to hear of problems with their beloved machines. But....they can trash other folks equipment.
Gee........you folks get all kinds of upset when someone trashes the Cavewright.
Contact your credit card issuer and protest the charge. Do not use the machine until you make the contact.
Should have known......
When the new software becomes available will we be able to upgrade with all the new features with no charge or will we have to buy it piece by piece?
Great reply Lawrence.
I suppose that if you spent $1300 on a machine that did not work right out of the box, be told that "sorry, that's your problem" you would be a happy carver. And then have comments again and again...
Most of what I see on this forum are sign makers. There is nothing worng with that. It si a craft just as a furniture maker is. My point is that Lhr caters more to that craft than others.
You did not offend me.
I have a full wood shop. Not just a sign maker. That's not why I bought the machine. I bought it to carve panels in cabinets, table aprons, fronts of chests, etc.
I do...
Must be nice to be able to invest that kind of money and not get an ROI. I have a fully equipped shop but I certainly can't afford to have spare machines on hand. I have to rely on my parts suppliers...
I was gonna reply but guess I won't....
I followed the link you posted. It says you are the vendor. Do your 16 bit patterns carve better.
OK........so what's the difference? Do they carve better or what?
What's a 16 bit pattern?
The Wood magazine article was very informative.
I do not believe that they gave one machine the edge although as stated Carvewright was mentioned several times. The one thing that stuck out to me...
Didn't mean to go off tangent on this post.
Excellent work on the chest. Post more of your furniture making.
OK. So you rotate the image in the program file but that does not rotate it in the software.
Glad to see someone that makes furniture using the machine. Maybe if both of us gang up on the software folks they will update the software to enable us to rotate the grain pattern on the board. My...
Whatever the reason until recently I could view thumbnails without logging in. And I am not going to save my log info on any forum or other sit I am on. My opinion, it's a futilie exercise to try and...
Not only do you have to log in to download but now I can,t even view thumbnails of projects. To be honest it is a pain in the neck and I feel it,s going to drive more people away. I don't look at the...
