Yes I saw that but the files are in a dfx format and need to be converted. I do not know how to do that. Is there a tool/software that will convert the cad diagrams or is the capability built into...

Has anyone created a pattern for the "linker Logs"?
It was illustrated in American Woodworker magazine Oct/Nov 2012 issue.
The original design came from...
The z motor has no resistance when the machine is turned on so apparently it is not getting and voltage.
Swapped out the flat cable with another new one - no difference.
Took off the z motor and...
Finally got my new FFC cable and replace it and I still get SOLID E06-0313 error as soon as I choose a patern.
Guess it isn't the cable.
I can not believe that CarveWright doesn't have a...
I could do that! Just need the connectors! Doubt the market would be big enough to play with it though.
The flat cable is only $2.81 so it makes sense to have a spare or two on hand so next time...
I took out the flat cabe and metered it for continuity and shorts and everything meters OK. Reinstalled it into the machine and restarted the project and it ran!!!! Then I staarted a second...
Any ideas how to clear this error. It doesn't go away.
I was using the 90deg bit and was carving the 4th test pattern for some road signs using different fonts. It was right in the middle of it when it stopped.
Just running along fine until it stopped with the E06-0313 error.
Cleaned the machine very thoroughly and the z-axis motor sensor etc.
Still getting solid error when I turn the machine on an go to...
Bud - Thanks!
Sounds like I will need the Centerline Text Software. What is the Outline Software? I didn't see it on the list.
Can one also use a 1/2" ball nose or straight bit for signs? The program will not let you choose a bit once you have selected text.
I am changing my computer but the CarvWright software indicates its no longer licensed. How can I fix this?
lynnfrwd,
Are we going to be able to get just the outside covers or are we forced to purchase an entire motor?
Ray
Al thanks so much for all the illustrations you provide! I will watch the coupling gears as I crank it and see if something is messed up.
Gumbo, I found the instructions!
When I first received this machine the top to bottom head alignment was all screwed up and I found out that both sides had loose lead screw nuts. Now they are tight.
From job to job I crank the...
I have finally found the problem of my machine just stoping!!
One of the brush slide connectors slid off the brush post!
In doing so I found that the top cover of the motor is cracked and...
My display does work.
Voltage checks of red/black and yellow/black connectors are good both horizontal and vertical.
The last thing I did was insstall the A907 upgrade and the machine did do a...
Replaced the circuit card with loose capacitor and the cut motor brushes and it still does not work. Cover switch tests as working OK.
I have lost two weeks and still can not get this maching in...
I took another look at everything and the capacitor is loose on one end!
I have a hard time believing that this problem hasn't been fixed yet!
It would take very little to permanently fix...
Yes - after installing the bit the motor revs up momentarilly and then goes on registering itself to the board.
My motor no longer revs up and if I allow it it will go to and attempt to cut the...
Al,
I did do that and it did count up.
Is there a way to meter the voltage or is there a fuse or something?
Ray
Right in the middle of a big job it stoped.
Now I get "Check Cut Motor RPM Sensor fault" Error 257
I ran th cut sensor check and it does change as it should.
I see the motor turning when I...
I did install the Z bundle and it now works great!!
Thanks everyone for their help.

"Attempted to start the project again and am now getting a 313 error. It appears as if the bit is lunging lower than it should as its in the set up phase of the operation.
Is there something else I...
Al,
Thanks for the pictures! I did find the encoder and there was a bunch of junk inside the cover so I cleaned it out and gently blew out the dirt from the sensor etc. Also got my new bit last...
