I replaced the gear pack from the other z-motor. Did a extensive cleaning including bearings. Checked the Brush on the cut motor that I could get at without taking it out (needs replaced. one on...

I wonder if he has the same problem as mine did. I stalled at same spot but did not go down to touch boad. I found the bearing on the gear assembly for the z-motor bad. Once I seperated the z-motor...

OK, I removed the Z motor from the gear box and the motor is fine. Gear box not so much. The plus side is that I have one of them from the motor assembly I replaced last year.

Well the good news is it finished the carving part and stalled on the bit change for cutout. I had just put in the 1/8 bit and when it homed it stalled. It is stuck at the top position. Barely...

Have you tried this before doing a Lithopane? I know the acrylic sticks to everything. Does this limit that?
