The last time i updated my software i had/have 1.126. How is my obviously older machine going to handle the new firmware and changes, if any. My machine runs smoothly now, skeptical about updating....

1 week and no replies, I hope that this is not an indication of the new softwares reliability

i have my card at 1.126 firmware and use 1.120 software

I have said this before and i'll say it again. Go back to 1.120!!!! I run projects everyday, that run fine and have the same predicable results every time. Sure, I may not be able to buy "the new"...

do what i did and dont use 1.134, I will only use 1.120. Had horrible luck with all aspects of 1.130 and above.

I would have to agree, get the rock chuck and forget about the qc issues for good. I could not be happier with mine, machine is quieter, smoother finish, less vibration, bits don't ever stick, no bit...

Being out of warranty also, I have always had the option to purchase new or reconditioned.

It too bad it wont display an mpc, mpw, or ptn as they are without you assigning a picture to it.

That is all I can say to be honest, wow. The rock is the golden ticket. Quiet, smooth and easy to install and use.

Will only work with carvewright/compucarve, due to the fact that ptn, mpw, and mpc are for this system.

If you have a card with 1.126 firmware on it, and it is put into the machine, the machines version of the firmware will be 1.126. If you then put a card in or reformat a card with a different...

I guess thats the bad part, you may have to invest more, after replacing all that stuff and the result is the same, the main board might be it. The techs are probably right

can you hear the roller switches "click" when you lift them manualy?

And just think it all started up with a question on the stability of designer 1.134. I guess I'll just install it and take my chances like the other versions. I still have 1.120 for backup
