Thanks for the tip Bergerud. That will work for the project that I need to do.
How about flat surfaces. ie. top dome or bottom dome that is straight from the low end to the high end rather than curved. Maybe there is another way to do this from with in designer but I don't know...
How about the ability to shape text. Something beyond curved such as curved top with flat bottom or curved top and bottom with different arcs, etc.
You can kind of do that now. You need to draw a rectangle over the board making sure that it starts where you want to see the cross section and run the rec off the end of the board. Now make it a cut...
If you do a search of the forum, somewhere here there are instructions on how to use a keyhole bit to create a hanging slot.
How about an iPad version?
I would also like to see an option to eliminate the stupid, "put all of the bits in before you start and them put them in again when they are actually needed."
Just another thought about the software. I recently modified a project that someone had uploaded to the forum. It is a box with tic tac toe pieces that fit inside. I changed it to be a marble game...
How about the ability to have different carve qualities on opposite sides of the board.
I know that I could just use two files, one for the front and one for the back, just thought that it would...
I think it would be real useful if you could get an approximate carve time from with in Designer prior to up loading to the memory card.
Also how about a bit list that could be checked to make...
Yes, Amen to that! Also it would be really cool to be able to check how much time each element adds.:)
