After really paying close attention I revise my complaint about cancelling Magnify. The methods noted by Metallus DO work -but not consistantly. Sometimes Pointer cancels Magnify, sometimes not....

"Magnify is cancelled when the pointer is selected, or when ESC is pressed."

Neither works for me -and I don't use a mouse with a wheel either, bummer. Seems just about ANY command works to cancel...

Developers -PLEASE do something about the transition from Magnify Tool to Pointer Tool! Cause Magnify to cancel when picked again OR cause Magnify to cancel when Pointer is picked OR simply cause Esc...
