Thanks... I'll help him recheck everything. I know he recently replaced Y motor & the belt. We'll go back & double check that all is on snug & nothing loose. I do recall that at one time the belt was...
Friend states when project starts the Z truck runs to the pad side & starts clicking as if still trying to continue going. Can this be the Y motor? When turned off everything moves easily. Any...
Thanks everyone. The Y motor was definitely new. Floyd, it is true that the belt clip was initially loose behind the truck and is the first thing we noticed... so we tightened it down and then re...
Friends CW has a Y Motor Issue (I think). After replacing the Y Motor and ready to start the first project...... Y Motor begins the "homing" process normally, but when the truck goes all the way to...

Looks great amigo! Keeping you and yours in our prayers..
Friend has some Corian that he has cut in to approx. 12x12 squares (1/2" thick). He has 24 and can put 5 in a USPS box. He is accepting all reasonable offers. Keep in mind to add the shipping cost...
Great work brother!
Very Nice! Paint job is great.... as I've always seen since way back when.
That was it! Thanks amigo! Have great Bunny Day!
I'm having trouble finding and old pattern that I carved a while back. It was what I call a 9mm "splat". I've gone thru all of my stuff and can't find it anywhere. I found the .jpg that I created to...
Duh! Why didn't I think of that! LOL Guess I was reading too much in to it. Thanks amigo!
I'm trying to "tweak" a coin holder pattern, but am having a problem tweaking the slots. I've tried just using the 1/8 cutting bit to create the slots, but the slots are just a little too thin and...
$500 Keeping in mind the dramatic depreciation that takes place on these machines.
Very Cool!
I recently had the same thing happen to me. I would run the cut motor test and it would not run at all (even though it showed that it was running). Lucky for me I have another machine so I just...
hmmm haven't thought of that. I might need to play around with that and see.
Hey Ken,
Yes the back is carvable and maybe that's the best way to go with this. One way might take almost as long as the other and probably the easiest is just to carve the backside. Tnx,...
Thanks for response Clint. If I try it out with the method I'm thinking about, I'll work on the letter spacing. The board is actually cedar from a tree that a friend of mine cut down.
Unfortunately I don't know of a way to set the depth when using a 60 or 90 V Bit as these are preset and cannot be adjusted.
I carved a board yesterday(4hrs) and of course that last letter "D" came out all jacked up. I hate to recarve everything so I'm looking for some ideas to try and fix my "oops".
I was thinking of...
Appears that now my cut motor has problems. I've checked it, cleaned it, brushes are good and don't see anything burned out. I also run the cut motor test and .......... nothin'. Does this sound...
Still hangin' in there amigo. Not as much, but I'm still around. I was braggin' about you to another carver a couple of days ago. Were your ears burnin'. LOL
I'm working on a lawn game called...
Got it..... I finally figured it out shortly after I posted. Brain moves a little slower as I get older. Maybe some Ginkoba?. LOL
Thank you sir!
