Thanks, unfortunately I can't use STL but I did find the model on sketchup and downloaded it. For some reason I missed it when I looked there before.
Yeah, I should clarify I'd like a full relief pattern or to get a 3D model.
The patterns in the store are too flat.
Thanks
Anyone have or know where I could get this? I need it for an order.
Thanks
You can try downloading DEM's (Digital Elevation Models) and using a prgram that will export it out as a greyscale image.

Actually now it seems it won't even let you look at the project like it used to until you purchase the license, so in other words the "Try" button is totally useless now.
Well got the circuit board and replaced it, did a test without everything put together (just in case) but everything plugged in. It seemed to work so I put everything back together. Went to try to...
Called LHR today. After going through the whole troubleshooting bit it looks like it may be the little circuit board on the z-motor. When the black/white plug is wiggled the resistance to the motor...
I do have a spare machine but the z-motor is the old version :( Which is missing parts and mostly for spare parts now.
I assume the controllers are the same? Not sure where that would be.
Fixed signature, it's 1.150
Thanks Bud but I do get a fairly smooth number change when checking the sensors. This time had a little resistance but when I went to select project it immediately...
Searched for 308 error but didn't find anything.
Carving was going fine then stopped to do some cleaning and restarted, z-truck went down to begin carving again then immediately got the 308 error....
I add a pattern to my project but I can't grab the resizing/rotation (red, yellow, green dots) handles, it simply moves the entire project around the screen.
Never had this problem with previous...
As Doc said there are 2 Jog functions. 1 You can set in options to manually tell it where to touch the board for finding the surface of the board.
The second one which you are talking about...
When you tell it to "stay under rollers" it adds 7" to the project length (in this case it adds 10+7) and looks for that length when it measures the board. If it doesn't find that length either due...
Yes the Pattern Editor can save the scan as a .png and a few other formats.
Just paste each twice.
Could be a faulty cut motor switch on the right side of the cover as you look into the CW.
Yeah I was going to make a similar comparison. Buy a subscription to a magazine or any subscription and it's usually for the next issue, then if it's a 1 year subscription it starts from the next...
I would just make the carved region .26-.27, you get the same result as making the top layer just a tad thinner.
Personal opinion I think the darker wood would be under the lighter wood. But then...
If he's not seeing the "Big T" icon he is probably not seeing the square/circle/etc drawing tools either.
At the top of the screen go to View> Toolbars and click in each box to show all the...
Are you talking about having patterns in the pattern library (clicking the shell icon brings up a list) and you want to edit these patterns? If so you need the pattern editor, which comes with the...
Depends if you are putting a board that is 7" longer than you designed in designer or if it's the actual size of what's in designer.
If you put an actual board in the CW that is 7" longer than the...
I have about 200 hours on my CW and have replaced the QC 3-4 times mostly due to user error. The Z-bundle has been replaced because the old model gave out and it was covered under warranty (the QC...
Yes, that's basically where and how it's used
To carve a photo takes a lot of adjusting the image in an image editor. You can't just load a photo into the CW and expect a decent carve.
If you are new to the machine I'd suggest trying some...
