of the channel in the truck

place a jumper wire across left hand swicth go to the key pad sencer check if it reads closed remove the jumper dose it read open then it is a bad swicth

i to had a loose encoder disk i mixed up a small amount of five min epoxy and placed a small amount as in one drop of epoxy on the shaft where it meets the disk

i had the same probiem with my carver check the encorder disk in the z motor mine was loose fixed it with
a spot of five minite epoxy on the shaft and disk

you can go to the key pad press 0 then 7 scoll to the rollers lower the head untill the rollers just compress the head pressure should be just about right

the same thing hapened to me on my a model machine i just removed the handel and sprayed wd40 in the handel hole it ether cleaned out carveing dust and posiblt lubed it has been working fine now
