Comment welcome.
So, the Dragon cane has found a home, the people who own the lunch shack in the building where my wife works have a brother who has cancer in his back and keeps falling needed a cane. He wouldn't use...
Yeah I thought of doing a glue up of corian and turning a blank for the rotary jig kind of expensive , but I am thinking of trying it. Maybe doing 2 or 3 litho's on one 14 in blank then boring it out...
I saw this and thought I would see if any one has tried one? This is really cool.

Giving freely of your talents is the way it's meant to be! Good job sharing yours.
Sharon you always Amaze me! Beautiful!
Thanks, just a note on Ed's design, I used a tenon for the handle to cane joint verses a dowel,
for stability. Just made me feel safer about selling it to some one.
Thanks Sharon, one day I hope to paint 1/2 as well as you do. I just wish I could find brushes that keep their points longer than 5 stokes LOL detail work is not that hard when the brush stays formed.
I used both the rotary jig and my lathe.
Ok I gave making a cane a shot the painting was the hardest part.
yeah scrap is what I used ,just glued up 4 pieces to make is contrast. I just ordered a bed Extension for my lathe so I can do longer turns, making a dragon cane first.
Not done on the CW, but i thought i would share, I turned it on the lathe for my wife's Birthday.
Nice, I made a sled for all my scale sizes to keep from wasting high dollar wood. I am glad to see this concept catching on it is fun to do. I have started learning to tool leather and make custom...
I made a different type of knife kit, a Skinner knife.
Great job! I have been learning leather crafting as well and have made a couple of sheaths for long knifes and a couple of cases for the folders.
Yes, the handles are glued with 2 part epoxy as to keep from drilling holes in the carve.
Bert , here is a picture of Omar, named after General Bradley.
Thanks, this is my 3rd knife , and the wolfs name is maximus the font I used made the s sorta look like a g in the picture
Knife for Daughter and sign for the new wolfs run.
Tried my hand at leather craft to make this sheath for my latest knife I made
Latest knife project, I think it turned out cool, I tried to simulate deer antler in the oak handle, the wood came from one of my trees , I processed the wood into a board so the material was...
