I put a dart board on the wall opposite mine. After several runs I was able to get a 'bulls-eye' consistantly!
...POP! .. 500 Points+++! :shock:
Maybe a new accessory item for the CW?...

First, let me clarify. MY Carvewright machine has been sold, NOT the company. Sorry if this confused some.
I sold because I needed something that would do more, faster. I ordered a new ShopBot...
CW has been sold
Ahhh....looks like ArtCam Pro software. Wow, expensive stuff!

As was said, it is a very capable machine and one that you can have some serious fun with, but it isn't a production machine. I've ordered a new shopbot and will have it sometime in...
Nice plaque!
What software is it that you bought that allows you to do this kind of design work?
I found with my unit, that as time moved on, I received more and more of the Clear board sensor msgs. At first, a simple cleaning with the vacuum would resolve the problem, then it would take a good...
Yes, I like the sharing idea myself and hope to do more in the near future. The files are in the CW library file format, all zipped and compressed into the one file. Download and 'Save' the file to...
Well, my machine has quit and is being sent in for repair and I had created these new carving designs to try this weekend, so it will have to wait until I get the machine back.
So..I thought I...
It would be very nice to be able to form a rectangle that has rounded corners!
How about a rounded rectangle function? ...with the ability to set the redius for the corners, symetrically or...
real nice!
What's the material you used for the center piece and what size is it? It looks like it has carved quite smoothly on the machine.
Hey that looks fantastic!
Btw, I received my router bits in Friday and looking forward to some new adventures.
YoHoooo! :D
You guys are right on top of it!
Thanks!
Not bad!
Keep the pic's coming!
Just wondering....has anyone received their bit kits yet?
I haven't seen mine yet and am real anxious to get them.
Great! and NICE looking project!
How long didi it take to run on the Carvewright?
Daniel,
Goto Photobucket and put a check mark in the box beneath each picture you want to be seen here. At the bottom of the album page, click on the button "Generate HTML and IMG code" button. ...
Daniel, Thanks! Yes, the edge routing was done on the machine. Being that I don't yet have my router bit kit from LHR, I used one of my own and it worked ok.
To display an image here, you first...
Ditto! to all above!
I've even been able to get help on a Saturday evening. Try to do that with other companies.
My thanks to LHR also! :D
Good work and good product fellows (..and gals...
Hey Daniel, thanks!
I used texas pine(??) that I picked up from the craft wood section at lowes. The whole project was run on the machine and took over an hour to do. I sanded the top with 220...
Sorry, i misunderstood. Yes, you can assign a cutpath to 'closed' vectors. A single vector though, cannot have a cutpath.
Dave
So far I've not been able to assign a cutpath to anything but a circle or rectangle, so in your example above, you would have to assign a cutter bit and depth to make the cutout...which will cause...
Finally after many problems and a giant learning curve, here are some pics of my first project with the Carvewright.

I don't think so...this sensor is only an inch or so from the router bit. It gets the brunt of the chips and dust.
It's easy to clean off. Just knowing that its there and needs it is the key.
Clear Bit problem solved!
I called LHR and spoke with David...on a Saturday even.. and he was extremely helpful. Thank you David!
Here's how to fix this problem and it is 'very' easy. The...
