Curious about Mac beta version updates.

Are the Mac and PC versions updated equally? For instance, is the PC version more updated and stable while since the Mac software is beta it isn't updated?...

I've installed the Mac beta software and all seems to be well except for running the tutorial (which is an .exe windows application - hehe).
