I am using paint shop pro and it seems to make the background into a "texture"
see example; and when it carves, it carves the background texture...
I did a search for "background" and did not find my answer ;)
I have been experimenting with graphics and one thing I seem to keep having is a grainy / wood like background. So, 2 questions;

oh, I understand now, makes me feel much better.
BTW; did my first carvings yesterday, one was AWFUL ;) the other two turned out much better than expected.
