I’m moving into an apartment and will not have the room for this unit shortly.
I’m asking $300, that’s a fire sale price. Low hours, no mechanical issues. I can cut a project you send to show...
Since you were carving when it went dark, the ground should have been there (provided your wall outlet is grounded).

Excellent information, thank you!

Good thought! When you say "heat up" you mean like a hair dryer or a torch?
I wonder if a shorter bit would work as long as cut depth isn't too deep?
Also, I'm guessing carbide over steel...

I broke a bit. I have the older style holder. The store no monger sells the old style bits? Is there a 3rd party comparable/comparable?

This machine sat for several years. When I started with it this year this display wouldn't turn on. That was simply some tarnish on the connector for the power board. I'm not surprised about this. ...
I see what you are saying. Good idea!
I defeated both switches and still the motor does not run. I removed the bottom and checked all power connectors. I looked at the X board and saw nothing that...
Ah! I'll check that later today. I am curious though, why the unit would go through the cutting routine without the motor spinning?
Thank you both for your kind responses :)

The machine has less than 20 hours on it. When in the cut test routine (where it says the motor is running) when you lift the lid, it informs you the cover is open. I suspect there is a loose...
I pulled out the machine and loaded a small project. I went to cut and the machine started to move in the correct axis'. Only problem is the cutter motor was not spinning.
It did not generate any...
I have a used compu-carve machine I purchased a few years ago, I ran a couple projects and its been sitting ever since.
I'd like to sell the unit, and will do so cheaply. I live in Bristol PA 19007...
Greetings,
It's been a year or two since i've used the machine. Since then i've upgraded computers (the other one is dead). How do I go about activating the software?

Hello,
I am sorry to post this here, but my phone calls and emails have been going unreturned. I have had this machine for about a year, and it sat unused over the winter. I wanted to lay out a...
I had a problem with the chuck sticking. I found that if you use the tool to lift the release and use a pair if pliers to GENTLY rotate the bit assy counter clockwise the bit easily comes out. From...
That was very informative, thanks for the link.
Question...Please correct me if I am wrong... if you cover the equipment in plastic will the condensation form on the outside of the plastic? Or for...
Jeff, thanks for the tips...That menu is very helpful! Both rollers hit their switches fine. I see what you mean about the cold and it makes sense. Thats brings to mind a question...My shop is...
Hello,
When I went to use the machine last it will not proceed past the load board stage. This happens regardless if it is a project or a rip operation. My guess would be that there is a sensor...
I appreciate all of the help from everyone on the forums here. Here is my first project, a wine rack with the .mpc. Please feel free to use if you like!
I've been reading the threads and hope there is a way to do this. I'd post a drawing, but it's the drawing I am trying to make..
Let's say I make a drawing 6x6x.75 and it works great...I add to...
