I have the 12-piece bit set, unused, all with QC adapters.

I only use the 1/16 carving bit. All but two of the bits still have the plastic/wax coating on them. Even the two that don't haven't...

Since I've had my Carvewright, I've mostly just done lithopanes. I have an urgent request from a friend to carve some 12" tall letters for his business, but I'm not at all sure how to go about this....

I'm still concerned about the weight/stress on the axis drive. Have you done any testing to measure and confirm this isn't a problem?

Don't forget to set bit optimization to the highest setting too.

Has anyone tried these bits on the Carvewright? They're industrial-quality tools made for CNC applications. The big advantage is, of course, that the replacement blades are only about $20.
