The left switch has only two wires. Is there a way to bypass both switches and remove the cover entirely? Or at least not worry about it being closed.
Because of the advice here I was able to adjust the roller and tighten it up. Now I am waiting for the micro switch to arrive.
Thanks to all.
Considering what I have read on the Forum LHR charges a fortune for shipping. No wonder people try to repair this machine themselves.
Is LHR the only place to get replacement parts?
Too bad...
It looks like a simple fix is the wheel rotates. The machine is already apart to the point I can access the wheels. Hopefully this will work. Thanks for the info. I will try it tomorrow.
I tried the air thing but it only worked for a short time. I removed the micro switch and am looking for a replacement.
I could still use suggestions on the Y track. Are there any adjustments to...
I have two issues with my machine and need to have them repaired. Anyone know where I can get it repaired?
First issue are the micro switches on the cover. One or both need replacement.

If that is the case I won't be able to carve all winter. The shop is 2400 sq feet and it would take a lot of Walmart heaters to attack it. The wood stove helps. Time to break down and buy a 220v...
I will give that a try tomorrow. It is 32 deg. in the shop now so I will wait. Thanks.
Thanks to the information on this thread I have found out why my sensor isn't reading the workpiece. Using option 7 I got a reading of around 60 on the workpiece.
I use pre-finished drawer fronts...
I found his post and photos. Looks like what I had in mind. After is exits the machine just where does it go? I wonder if it is enough to just have the dust collector without the air hoses. I...
Has anyone tried to put a 4 inch dust collector hose connection in the area on the right side of the machine where the bit tray is located? This seems like it would be a perfect location that is out...
After a further cleaning I found out the switch was not bad, just plugged up. I am glad since the instructions for replacing them are 12 pages long.
Live and learn. Maybe I burned out the switch as I always used the cover to stop the machine to clean it out. I will try another project and see if the Stop button still works. Thanks.
Is there...
Thanks for the info. I checked the machine after removing the project. Although the bit and the carving head finally stopped the belt did not. Where is this micro switch hidden? Has the safety...
When I lift the safety cover the machine used to stop. Now the bit stops turning but the head keeps moving back and forth as if it were still cutting. Any suggestions on what went wrong?
I don't mind if you are using them to sell your finished product, you made it! But the problem comes from people selling other people's patterns! Making a product from the pattern means you made...
I read somewhere on this forum that you either give lessons or in person help on the CW. Is that true?
Your comments do not make sense. "No you cannot sell, rent, give away models created by us for your use." If the item is created by you for my use I can do whatever I want with it. If a piece is...
Will you be holding any further classes?

There shouldn't be a copyright problem if the item isn't used for commercial purposes. Merely carving something with a company name on it for personal use is not a problem. It would be...
I just got my machine and joined the forum. I really like your shotgun carving. Any chance you may be willing to share the program?
That's a great tip. Wish I had read it sooner. I was finally able to get the damaged piece out and am running a project. It said it will take 9 hours when I uploaded it to memory. I have several...
Unfortunetly there isn't anyone in all of Idaho. Guess people here are too busy hunting and fishing.
Is there a thread where users from the same area can get together and learn from each other?
