Guys I am selling my CS Machine, I am located in the greater Kansas City area and do not want to have to ship it out, so pickup is a must. It has 256 hours showing on the cut motor display, it has...
You have to purchase the activator separately Mike.
I had a client that wants me to make a theater marquee like the one pictured below that I make, the thing is that it needs to be about 10 feet long, which would put the overall height at around 42...
Here is the ipad dock mold plug and the finished urethane model, you can get the mdf to be smooth as glass with the primer.

I used to use MDF all the time, it is a mess, but very easy to work with. I made this toolbox dock with it, as well as a Ipad dock. I just used automotive primer and sanded it down smooth.

The trick with aging with paint is to try to deconstruct the layers you see in a actual antique object, think of what may have caused the aging on top of the original finish and recreate it. Break...
The finish on this is so easy to do, I use Metal effects paint by Modern Masters. They have an iron paint that contains iron particles, you put a couple coats on, spray on an activator and...

Funny thing, I am putting the machine back together and did the x drive test and am now getting errors in the test mode.. I need to pull the x drive motor and give a it a bench test....
I went ahead and took the machine apart again today and just went through it. I made sure the head guide posts were aligned properly. cleaned and lubed everything again and checked the head pressure...
Lynn, the machine is on its own dedicated 20 amp circuit straight to the outlet, no extension cord or power strip is used. I plugged my other machine in on this line and had no issues.
I did check the x drive gears and they are in good condition, no missing teeth and everything meshes up fine
The head is level, rollers move smoothly and easily. The plate is square and no obstructions in the belt system.
I did not get a X drive error during the test, no odd sounds at all.
I did both of those things.
I have rubber belts, and yes I can move the rollers by pushing on them.
Hey guys, I wanted to throw this out there and see if anyone has some ideas or have had a similar situation. A few weeks ago I started getting X drive errors during a carve. I went through all the...
Yeah, I had the polarity correct. Also to answer your earlier question, the machine is a CS model. :)
Update...... Replaced the capacitors this afternoon and still a no go....time for a new controller board
