Hey, no problem. Didn't feel put on the spot at all..... was just explaining it a little. Whatever you do, keep making patterns and keep sharing. That's what makes this place cool is all the...
Ike, I am NOT referring to making patterns in general with Coreldraw....
I was talking about taking the clip art images that came with the Coreldraw Suite, and making patterns out of them... all...
Andrea, I was specifically talking about the 'clip art' that comes with the program, if you buy the full version. You are welcome to use that artwork in your own designs, but it would not be legal to...
Well, this has been hashed out here a few times in the past, so don't feel bad, Ike. It's definitely not the first time it has come up...
As far as using Corel clip art to make patterns and then...
You're right, one of the arrows is the opposite (UP/DOWN) of the other two in the symbol. Just now, looking at mine, the symbol I used was rotated 1/3 turn from the ones posted up above. Rotate it...
Hey Michael.... I've been extremely busy completely remodeling a house that my wife and I are about to move into. Started out a minor overhaul and turned into an over year-long project. That, along...
I use Coreldraw X3 and X4... and both export to a .PNG just fine. Photopaint will save to a .PNG also.
Much better format to use than JPG....
Here's one I did in Coreldraw..... semi 3d....
Welcome to it, if you like it.
Don, if you are talking about my two videos and you are getting only audio and not the video, you need to download the 'codecs' for Windows Media Player. They are available here......
Hey guys... Flexisign is a program made for cutting vinyl signs and really doesn't have much application for the Carvewright machine...
If you had thousands of bucks burning a hole in your pocket,...
Wow.. turned out pretty nice! Glad I could help. I like your finish job you put on it, would like to see a couple more pics of it if you have any.
No problem, glad I could help.
No, I just recreated that in Coreldraw, so that I could add the bevels etc. very similar to the way I did the logo in the 'Digitizing a logo' tutorial. I put a reply...
PhotoPaint X3 has this feature also. I've played around with it some, couldn't get very good results. It creates a 3d relief based on the lightness/darkness of the image... it doesn't create a height...
Hey guys and gals! How is everyone. Been so busy, I've keeping a somewhat low profile, but downloaded the trial version of CorelDraw X4 and decided to try it out with a project. I did this up in a...

Ivanq, I have a tutorial on that exact subject available at my website... it's called 'How to Digitise a Logo in Coreldraw'... according to the positive feedback I've received back, quite a few here...
Nice projects!
If you want another Ford logo to play around with, I did one a while back and have it on the 'Free Stuff' page....

Hey guys.... sorry, I was out of pocket this weekend and just saw this message...
Thanks, Jeff.. what he said is correct. There are certain things that make it not display right and he listed...
Ted Grinnell has got some antique car patterns here.
Yeah, when I first looked at the unfinished one, I told myself.. "boy, those letters came out crappy.." Then when I looked at the painted one, I said "hey, I see where he's going with that...." Nice...
One thing that will also help a lot is to do the lettering in separate pieces, even if you do it in Coreldraw (so that you can add bevel effects, etc.) The reason for this is that you can then select...
Hi AL...
Had a few minutes so did you a quickie version. Let me know if this is what you had in mind and how it works when you lay it out. Didn't have much time right this sec, but I can tweak it...
BigMax, I didn't read through the whole thread due to the whining and crying (not necessarily you) that typically is contained in these posts... ;-) so someone may have already suggested this...

Michael, that is truly one of the finest pieces I've seen produced yet. Good job.
