Hi
I have the original Craftsman Compucarve A series CNC.
I had it in storage for several years. I decided to get it out, clean it up, and get it going again.
Unfortunately I found that the 18...
Got it going again. I did everything Bud directed me to do. The bad thing is I'm using MS Excel 97 which is very limited as far as the Find part. He suggested using at least Excel 2000 to get good...
AskBud uses that method and told about it in his video that Badbert mentioned. It was a while back when I set up my search system using the MS Excel. When my computer was reset back to the original...
Happy New Year everybody!!! :p
I hope 2013 would be a great year for all of us.
Awhile back AskBud mentioned about using Excel to find the patterns through the internet. I was using it for awhile....
Thank you so much, Ike! It will work. I will post the finished project soon.
Again, thank you!
Ike, here's the mpw of the dog. I appreciate your help! :D
How do I set the depth of the EMBER name? I am planning to use the 60 degree bit to carve the letters but am afraid of going too deep. I am using the centerline feature and set as bold.
Thank you for the offer, Alan. I am doing this for my girlfriend who bought the wood to do this project. I have to turn down your offer.
Hi folks!
I am making a 14"H X 12"W plaque of the German Shepherd for my girlfriend son. How well will this carve? What bits would work as far as carving?
You're welcome to redo this pattern for me...
Thank you all for your comments concerning the plaque. She really loved it and it was the first time anyone ever made her something for a gift. Thanks again!
Thanks. This is for my girlfriend whose birthday is tomorrow. I sure hope she like it! :)
This is a 20" by 11" name plaque I created for someone who is special in my life. This is the first great plaque my Carvewright created! :)
Thank you guys for your responses! I was really sick about what happened. I will try the techniques you both mention if that happens again.
Hey Guys,
I had a bad situation while Carvewright was carving. The project was like 70% carved when I accidentally dropped something and caused the machine to be unplugged.
I had to start all...
Thank you guys for your info on this matter. I am looking forward getting back into this hobby.
So I just put the scale into the Carvewright and lower the head until it start clicking and see what the weight (pressure) read? This is a new one to me!
