Loose connector on cable going to keyboard.. The menu is working correctly now, havent had a chance to try a carve yet will do that this morning.

To start from the beginning a week or so ago while doing a fairly simple care kept getting message something like.. " Continue opereration? ENTER for yes Stop to abort" I reformatted card...

I've used them on a few projects like that, I get them at Hobby Lobby cost about $3 for 10. I just start with about 4 and add more if it feels like they are needed to hold the piece. 4-6...
Could it be that these lights are intended for submerged use only and the waterproof covering cant take the heat of operation in the open air?

Best guess would be that they are getting to warm / hot.. checked the specs and some call for operation at temps below 80. Not sure how your overall enclosure is made but may need to provide a head...
Mohawk precat lacquer... Comes in a variety of sheens and can also be custom color tinted.
I have also used Rustoleum gloss clear enamel, you have to apply several coats with ultra fine (600 +)...
The picture shows obvious slipping on the x.. are you using masking tape for the roller wheel to track on and have you checked you head pressure? Those are most common causes of x slip..

Sounds like a scaling problem.. Are you answering yes or no to stay under rollers? Is the maching asking to scale the project?
Can be caused if you sled is even slightly less than 14" long which...

Glad you solved you problem, just had to comment on the 68 degree shop!!! Thats only a vague memory here in Kentucky.... Its 97 in my shop, the cw is humming along about to finish up on some trim...
A thought for LHR...
Make a interconnecting cable setup that would allow one CW to scan while another simultanously carves a duplicate!!
Or maybe I just need more sleep!!

Seems like it would be a good ideal for LHR tech guys to come up with a list of "spares" and put toghether a kit of them than could be bought as a single order... maybe even at a slight discount from...

Chuck is 1.18" dia X .65" thick
Max swing dia including set screw is just over 1.3"
Top of chuck is .40" below bottom of z truck housing

Best guess is that the screw was over torqued at some point and the loc tite had been holding together, careful wrench work should prevent it from happening again..
