Jonm3, I do not see where you live, but I had a bunch of issues with my machine, a few years ago. Come to find out my unheated shop was causing it. Grease and other lubrication's will change...
@henry1 - capacitor was easy to find, and the repair was easy if you are comfortable using a soldering iron.
@Al - the machine has the ROCK, but who knows how long the stray nut was loose inside,...
Had a friend getting Y and Z axis stalls, he searched here and went through the regular possibilities (cleaning, checking rails belts etc). Nothing, whilst he had the CW laying on its side he tried...

Sounds like the capacitor on the power board has broke. Search the forum, Al has posted on this problem several times.
Let me see if I can find a link.
Look at post #3 in this thread and see if...
Another trick to get thinner/shallower depth would be to design in designer and select the 90 deg bit, when you run the project in the CW/CC when it ask for the 90 deg bit, put a 60 deg bit in.
Good...

Very Nice Jerry,.
I am pleased you updated this thread since I missed it first time round.
I guess I am missing something here, you have a planer, yet you are wanting to waste the CW machine time, risk the chance of the board jamming and breaking the X axis and or breaking the bit!
I...
Thanks for the update Michael, and thanks for all you do.You must have a 48 hour day to keep up.
Best wishes to Oldcop and I am pleased no Cancer, look forward to seeing his next projects.
@ Al, I admire your patience with repetitive negative post about the machine.
@ Dumbdawg, like others have said, we have all felt your frustration, mine was a lack of patience. I just wanted to go...
That sounds like one of the compression rollers switches may need cleaning, they are located behind the keypad.
Check out this thread I posted where I had problems...
I sold my machine in December, and I am still hanging out here. Trying to keep up to date until I am in a position to buy another one.
Is the your machine under warranty? If so LHR will email you a UPS shipping label, which means it is free. BUT you need to ship the machine back in it's original box.
Good Luck
When I was having problems with a Z axis stall, I found it was the wide rubber of the flex shaft, where it plugs into the truck, was coming up and catching on the top cover. I cut about 3/4" of the...
Another way to get deeper, is in designer select the 60 deg bit, but when you go to carve the piece use the 90 deg bit. This can be trial and error depending on the different fonts.
Never seen it when I view the forum, Jerry. Is it possible some software installed on your computer that is causing it?
Just a FYI the any uprgraded software centerline etc is not transferable.
Simple answer is no.
I believe Ike has had 5 but only has 2 until he bought a sweet deal to make it 3.
Sorry to hear about your Dog Jon, went through that last year.
Regarding your sale, be aware that the Centerline and Purchased patterns are not transferable. Also if the Probe was registered, it...
I just got an email from Sears that the part has shipped :mrgreen:
Doug, thank you for sharing your infomation regarding pricing, I don't remember seeing a breakdown that precise. I haven't managed to sell any of my work, but being a hobbyist I got payment from...
Update for Doug, the part arrived yesterday, so about a week. The other thing is it came directly from LHR.
