Viking and Spartan helmets. Both fantastical with no bearing to historical findings.

Playing around with adding displacement to the material and not the geometry. It is essentially virtual detail...

Michael, thank you. I am glad I was able to get something that could show off the pattern. It is way better looking than the picture and my wife loved it so double happy.

I believe a workaround is to increase the board setting depth of the board to 3/4 in and then set your pattern depth deeper which will give you the deeper spoon bowl.

    Otherwise you may need to...

What do you think? Quick little exercise.

    F-4 Phantom

Some hard surface modeling practice. Like always, I had a hard time getting a good STL format pattern from the model due to its long length and thin surfaces but got an okay (not great) pattern from...

I wasn't too happy with the previous pattern. Went back and tried some new things.

Designer tends to not like STL files larger than 100 megs.

    Workarounds are:

Decimate the model; reduce the number of facets thereby reducing file size
    Retopologize; simplify the model by...

What is the size of the file? Is it greater than 100 megs?
