Fanatastic! LOVE the finish you did.
You're very welcome - glad it worked for you. Nice mod too!
You're welcome... Most of my carvings were using the full width, so I designed it to work for the whole width. Changing bits has never been a problem for me with the DC in place.
Hey DD! Good to see ya. Nice simple DC concept, I like it! I'll shoot you an email to see how that other project of yours is coming.
Hey CJ.... I feel badly for you! I, and I'm sure many others on here, have done the same! Like I said, I hated pointing that out. Look at it this way though, you get to run your machine again! Silver...
Nice sign CJ! I HATE to do this to you but isn't there another "i" after the "n" in Virginia?
Al is ALWAYS better and more clear than the troubleshooting guide! Kudos! LHR should pay you as a tech consultant.
Just a silly thought but how long is your board to begin with? At 2 inches thick, it may be a bit heavy and need some extra support when hanging out of the machine. From what you described about the...
What a great piece of engineering bergerud. Kudos! These latest pictures are great to see the level of work you've put in - I love your twist-lock. You've got me rethinking a dust collection design...
I'm extremely impressed. You are all excellent woodworkers! Lawrence, you have now convinced me that I "need" a lathe, THANKS!. <grin>
Here's a bowl I made that is 6" diameter by 2-1/4" deep. CW...
Haha! Nope... Me too! I should be ashamed... It does always look clean though. <wink>
Awesome! Really great work!
Coming from a mold making background, I have a "little bit" of experience with cnc's of many types. I have also owned other desktop cnc machines, a 3D printer, and recently built a large 4' x 8' cnc...
Good point! It depends on which race is press-fit that you are trying to remove. I made an assumption based on the picture of the bottom bearing still on the shaft. In any situation when trying to...
You need to do it like this....
Brilliant solution BTW Bergerud!
The center race is what is actually holding onto the shaft, the outer race is just riding around the outside on the actual ball bearings inside. If you beat on the outer race you are putting shock...
Nicely done Alan!
Mine is the name of an awesome little terrier we used to have, Fletcher. I've had many dogs but that one was almost human, he was so smart.
I'm trying to figure out what to do about it too CNS.
My PC sits almost directly in the line of fire of my other router. I just blew out about an inch of buildup the other day. I've been too busy...
Awesome modification!
You obviously understand how critical dust collection is then! Thanks for the vote.
That's a really cool mod jaroot!
Me too... Might have bought one if there was the option though! :)
