Wasn't sure if anyone would want to carve this model but I did several versions of the pattern. Here is one I made using Zbrush bas relief function to CW Designer. Maybe a little better than the grey scale height map but you can play with both and see which one works better for you.

This is the model pose I am currently printing. It's going to take 5 days of printing. The model is 17 inches tall so had to break up into different parts. Each of the bigger parts are all over 20 hour prints. Biggest model I've printed so far. I'll post when finished but it will take a few more days. lol

Awesome project Oscar. Now you have to figure out what else to do for 5 days.

I should have been done yesterday but I screwed up one of the legs so I am re-printing. Another 21 hour print.
I also have to reprint the guns. I may have kind of snapped one in half as I was playing with it. lol

This project took forever but I learned a ton of stuff and also a lot of fun.
The model is right at 17 inches tall. Epoxy glue is drying and should be able to start painting tomorrow. New skill needed for painting since I haven't painted anything in about 30 years.
What do you guys thinks? lol. Nerd or geek.

Very nice Oscar. The painting should be a chore we all look forward to. lol

What a journey. This took way longer than it should of and the model has a ton of errors in many different ways but very happy with it being my first mech design for printing.
I thought I was going to hate painting it but turned out a lot of fun.
Hope you all like it.
Okay back to cnc.

Awesome! Detail really makes it look viable as a robot down to the jointed fingers. I'd say all your design time paid off. Looks ready for whatever could pop up.
