Attachment 53721Attachment 53722Attachment 53723Came through the cut from Galveston Bay into Clear Lake on a barge and parked beside the Nasa Hilton site of our 2012 Conference! They moved it across the street yesterday. Good thing we didn't have our event planned this past weekend. Nasa Rd 1 closed both directions!
You got to see it?! Very cool. I bet it was spectacular seeing it come through the canal at Kemah Boardwalk.
A lot of folks are upset that Johnson Space Center didn't get the real thing. I think it was wrong, but am glad that we at least got a replica.
Just saw discovery at the udvar hazy smithsonian last week on our first day of vacation.... simply spectacular..... glad you enjoyed seeing th other one too. Lawrence
