Designer 3 Defaults

Is there a way to change the defaults in Designer 3.

Specifically, when I open the Pattern tool, the "Scale to fit board" box is checked. I would like to change the default to unchecked.

Also, when I add a pattern to the board, the "feather" is automatically set to 1/4", and the "floor feather" box is checked. I would like to change the default for these as well.

As far as I know there is no way to do that.
