Here's a stupid question
I want to make a Longworth Chuck like the pic attached. Getting the arcs right in Designer is a snap. Assigning the 3/16" cutting bit with a cut-thru gives me just the diameter of the bit. How do I make those cut-thrus larger than the diameter of my 3/16" cutting bit so they will accomodate a 1/4" bolt?

go to lowes and get a 1/4" straight edging bit, assign a 3/16" to the project and install a 1/4; when ask to do. stair step the cut a 1/4" at a time for whatever thickness board.

Draw the closed arcs to size and apply a cutpath with a 1/8" bit and a .063" inset. You can adjust the size of the inset for a little wiggle room.

Steve.....can I do that with 1.187 Can't open your mpc.

Even simpler, draw your arc. Copy and paste it onto itself. Select both arcs. Connect the ends. (Looks like one arc but it is now a closed double arc.) Apply the 3/16" cutting bit and give it a -1/32 inset.
