you have seen 5 x 12 with words carved in like Family, Love ect? I am not sure how I do this, I think I make a rectangle where I want the work, do carved region then do my word? I am not sure on how to do the depth and length of the board. Is there as ask bud tutorial? I would greatly appreciate any help in this matter.

I can not open this file, i went to check for updates gave me windows or apple installer choose windows, it starts to install then I get window abort, retry, ignore? the only one that works is abort? Am I missing something?

I liked both but the top one was what I was looking for, can you tell me how you got it to look like that, I mean what depth, feather no feather , draft no draft? I really appreciate your help, and thank you but I did finally get it to load....................Thanks again

On the mpc below:
Carve Region defaults to 0.250
Carve Region feather of 1/4"
Family:
Depth 0.25
Height: 20
Draft medium
bit optimization Best
If you are just doing text (no pattern) you can get away with depth of carve region and text at 0.125. Taking out less wood, speeds up the carving time.
