These are a couple of Western themed items I have been working on. After having my machine for seven years thought I would finally try a pierced carving. For a first try I am pretty happy with it.

Those are awesome!
Great Job! They are really nice.
Awesome execution. The carvings came out great.
I agree, you should be very happy with the final product. Haven't had the nerve to try one myself but your project does make me want to make something that beautiful.

Both are very nice projects but your pierced Welcome Sign takes 1st prize.
Thanks for all the compliments, the pierced carving is definitely my favorite. Now I just need to decide if I should call it complete with just the letters painted or add more color to it. If I had Sharon's painting ability I would do more but I am afraid of screwing it up.
Both are great, but the pierced carving is a masterpiece!!!!!
Those came out great, Dale! Beautiful finishes!
Color me jealous. Both are beautiful carvings and IMHO the pierced welcome carving needs no more coloring. It is perfect as is. If you don't mind my asking where did you get the patterns for these?
George, Michael, and dbemus thanks for the compliments. I have decided to leave well enough alone on the pierced carving.
I got these designs from a guy named Vitalie Diaconu. He has an Esty store "3dmodelsMD" where he sells some of his items. The round welcome sign can be found there. He also has a Facebook club called "Club A" where he has over 400 designs and adds several more every week. Many of these designs are not on his Etsy store and can only be found there, that is where the pierced sign came from.
You can go to Club-A-Models.com to view all of his designs and if interested in joining the club you have to get on Facebook go to the Cnc Users Forum and request to join the Club A. Club A members have a choice of buying individual designs or buy a year's subscription and have access to all 400 plus designs.
Just a heads up, his designs are very big, sometime 400-500 mb so you have to use something like Meshlab to reduce it to a useable size.
Very useful information! I plan to check it out. Thank you!
