Had the pleasure to see it work. Pretty impressive. A very niche market though. I can't imagine a need for it myself.
It is a cool item. I can think of a two or three useful applications - like carving a design into an existing hardwood floor, tabletop surface, wall or whatever. But, I'm still waiting for the ultimate epiphany. My "idea breakthrough" hasn't happened yet.
Check this one out! www.cncmogul.com
If its legit it is way cool. I have been looking at a bigger model, they are around 6-8 thousand. I contacted company, forum for owners only but no post on it. It was set up friday. He did not give me any contact number for owners. Just their number. They must be just getting started. I wish someone on here knew this machine. I want to hit the buy button!!!
Looks cool, but the old saying comes to mind, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is". Also, I would want to know about the support. Our CarveWright forum is awesome. I have been a member of various forums, but have never found a group so willing to help you out not just with opinions, but actually work such as fixing patterns, researching machine issues, etc. I don't know how you put a price on this forum, actually it is Priceless!
It gets even better....

WOW I would like one of those www.cncmogul.com
Keep in mind the cncmogul uses stepper motors versus the Carvewright's servos. Google "stepper versus servo" if you're not aware of the differences.
