LHR now offers multiple warranty options for our CarveWright customers. You can stay with the Minimum Warranty that comes with the machine or choose which upgrade package you would like with your new system. The Standard Warranty that was previously included in the price of the machine is now available as an option. Plus, we have again answered our customer’s requests by now offering an Extended Warranty for your system.

These warranties include the follow warranty period limitations, but each customer is responsible for reading and understanding their warranty agreement in full. Access to those legal documents, rights and restrictions, inclusions and exclusions, are provided through the associated links:

Warranty Price w/Machine

These warranties are only available for new machines and must be purchased no later than 90 days from time of new machine purchase. The Minimum and Extended Warranties are only available through LHR Technologies. If your new machine is purchased from a dealer with the Standard Warranty already included, or if you decide you would like to upgrade your warranty selection, you may do so within 90 days of machine purchase. The Warranty Period of these warranties is based on date of machine purchase and will not exceed 2 years or 400 carving hours. The period is for up to the specified time period or amount of carving hours on your machine; whichever comes first. Warranty period will never extend more than 2 years or 400 carving hours.

For example:
Customer purchases a machine on July 1, 2010 with the Minimum (30 day) Warranty ($0.00).
89 days later, the customer decides to purchase an Extended Warranty ($400.00).
The warranty will expire July 1, 2012.

Yes, we now offer an extended warranty. Please refer to question above. For those customers who purchased an extended warranty through one of our distributors please direct all questions regarding this service to that vendor.

The CarveWright system has been in development since 2001 and was introduced to the market at the end of 2006. Currently, more than 15,000 units have been sold.
The CompuCarves were functionally the same as the earliest CarveWright models.  The last CompuCarve was manufactured in 2008, and since then dozens of changes and upgrades have been made.  CarveWright is the manufacturer and developer’s brand. The CompuCarve’s are upgradable to bring them up to the current standards.
Some of the available accessories (including scanning probe, bits, patterns etc) are available with the Quickchange adapters that will work with the CompuCarve and older CarveWright systems. In order to make use of the complete line of accessories and bits these older model machines will need to be upgraded with the CarveTight Spindle.  You can order all of these from CarveWright by calling 713-473-6572 or going to to the CarveWright Store.
You can request an informational packet by calling 713-473-6572, sending us an e-mail request through the website, or by requesting it via mail. Also, all of the information regarding the CarveWright is available on the website including the operator’s manual, tutorials, trial software, and the FAQs. If you would like to have the video demonstration or free trial software sent to you in CD form, it can be purchased for $7.00.
A carved sample can be purchased for $15, which is applicable toward the price of the machine when purchased. We have a standard carving that we send out and we do not carve special orders.
In-house demonstrations are available at our facility in Pasadena Texas every Wednesday afternoon, excluding holidays. Please call ahead to schedule an appointment at 713-473-6572. These sessions are informal and personalized to answer your questions. We cannot set up your specific project for you, but we can go over the different software and machine features.

You can also post a request to see another customer’s machine in action. Post your request with location on the Community Forum or visit the STARTU page and view their Member’s List that includes location and contact form. This information was posted by customers and not LHR. LHR cannot provide personal information regarding contact information or location of our customers.

We are available for special demonstrations. Scheduling depends on availability, location and group size. Please contact us with specific requests here.
The pricing is the same. However, we do provide for our educators a curriculum guide and the ability to install their license on 5 computers instead of the typical 2 computers. Please call or visit the Educators tab on the website for more information.
We are currently seeking parties interested in exploring independent distribution or representation. Please send your request here.
We have an annual users Conference that involves three days of classes in the Houston, TX area. There is a complete set of tutorials available through our support section for learning able every aspect of the machine. We also have under the Community section the forum, usergroups, and STARTU where fellow customers help each other out.
It is VERY IMPORTANT to properly prepare and package the machine for shipment. The box and shipping materials are approved by UPS and shipping in any other container or packaging materials may result in denial of any claim for shipping damage. Please follow the Packing Instructions to prevent damage to your machine and minimize loss of items. Customer is responsible for any damage due to improper preparation or packaging.
We highly discourage customers from shipping themselves. If you do, please add insurance to cover the price of the machine. Also, be aware that improper preparation of the machine and non-approved box & shipping materials will most likely result in shipping damage and denial of your shipping claim even when insured.

Ordering shipping through LHR includes insurance on your machine. Our box & materials are tested and approved by UPS. Improper preparation of your machine for shipping, may also result in damage that the customer is responsible for. Follow these Packing Instructions to minimize the chance of damage to your machine and loss of any items that are not to be sent with the machine.
