I have tried to add the engraving bit as shown on the video but after I go thru the add ad shown It does not show up on my list when i go to select it to carve a name plate. what am i doing wrong. Help please

you should let us know what designer and/or machine you're using.

It sounds like the bit didn’t save properly in your tool list. Make sure you hit “Save” after adding it, and double-check that you added it under the correct tool category (like “V-bit” or “Engraving”). Sometimes the software hides the bit if the size or type doesn’t match the project settings. Try restarting the program too — new bits often show up after a refresh.
